Hi Mikalie, How exciting that you have a blog too! We love ours and all our friends and family's so I can't wait to keep up-to-date with you and your fam. Your pics are way fun to look at and you'll be so glad you started this when you did, I wish we'd done ours sooner and that blogs had been around when I was in high school, I can barely remember any of that time! Say hello to everyone for us and have fun at Curtis and Leslie's, wish we were there! ps I've never used Midol, but maybe I will now!

Hey, well I'm Mikalie if you didn't already know! I am seventeen and now a senior at Basha High School! I play volleyball, and a TON of it! It's getting close to where I need to decide what I want to do with my life, and where I want to go for college! I would love love love to go up to Provo, Utah. My coach is helping me to get looked at by UVU. (for a scholarship for volleyball). and if that's not possible, BYU would definitely be an option of mine! I am the oldest of 3 girls. There's me, Shalai, and Taelin. I love them both so so so much! My parents are my biggest role models, and my mom is practically like my best friend. My family is really incredible, and I know you're pretty much jealous :)
"So don't be afraid to make mistakes, stumble and fall because most of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. maybe you'll get everything you wish for. maybe you'll get more than you could have ever imagined. who knows where life will take you. the road is long and in the end the journey is the destination."
"At this moment, there are 6,471,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day, others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good... struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world--6 billion souls--and sometimes all you need is 1.
Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is going to come from. The next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that its right around the corner, and you open up your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing your wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it, with all of your heart.
