This Christmas we celebrated it early. (That way my parents didn't have to haul all the gifts up) to Winslow where we celebrated the holiday with all our aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. There were so many people in my grandma's house Christmas Eve!

Flagstaff

We went to Flagstaff Christmas Day and saw a movie. We saw Bedtime Stories and its seriously SOO much more funny than I was expecting it to be. And it was snowing like crazy up there! like 4-5 feet deep!

I don't know what I would do without Sydney, Megan, Tiffany, and Stacy. They are my best friends and they keep me VERYYYYY entertained. We are constantly laughing and I just could never make it with them not here with me. I love them. And sorry syd. We know we make fun of you and tease you alot (like for example, the title of this post) but we would never mean to hurt you :)

What I learned in spanish class is...

So today in Spanish I was talking to this girl who was telling me about this reallyyyyy yummy treat! She went on saying that this YUMMY treat was made out of a oreo cookies and cream cheese. I told her as soon as I get home from school I was going to try and make them, and... I DID! haha. It took me awhile though because I had to get a whole thing of oreo cookies and crush them into the smallest crumbs. Than after the oreo cookies were no longer cookies I got out the two boxes of cream cheese out and started to mix them together. That took forever too. When everything was all blended together and the cream cheese was the farthest thing from white I knew I could stop mixing. So I started rolling them into little balls, placed them on a cookie sheet, and set them in my fridge. After that I went and bought some icing (cream cheese icing to be exact; its my dad's favorite.) But anyways, when I got home I got one spoonful of the icing and warmed it up in the microwave till it was runny, than took out my treats and drizzled the icing over the top of them. They are seriously soooo amazingly good, I just need to think of a good name to call them. :)

I woke up early because HAVOK had a team bonding activity this morning. We went on a hike over by the SanTan Mountains! (I will post pictures up as soon as Coach Pew or Coach Jamie uploads them to their own blogs :) ) So yeah. That was alot of fun, and I love our team. When I got home I took a shower and got ready to go job hunting. And of course, NO ONE IS HIRING! My luck. I need a job, and the money haha. So far, that is my day. I think I am hanging out with Jacob Michael Winters tonight. I am happy :) OH! I died my hair darker, and this is what it looks like.

Turkey Dayy

This Thanksgiving we drove up to Bayfield, Colorado (yes we drove the whole 9 hour drive) to visit family. We stayed with my Aunt Leslie, my Uncle Curtis, and my cousin Lexi. Being in Colorado was SOO different, especially for me. haha. I absolutely hate the cold weather; not to mention the higher elevation gave me the biggest headaches and my asthma kicked in big time. But for the most part it was a good trip :)

The last night in Colorado Shalai, Taelin, and myself stayed up super late. haha. and we played all types of weird & random games. And eventually we got ahold of the camera and decided to make the ugliest faces, hence "ugliest face contest." You choose who won. haha

Volleyball State Playoffs

Yes, Basha High School's Varsity Volleyball team made it to State again! We went into State playoffs seated 12th (not so great) and we were matched up to play the number 5th seat... which was Mountain View High School.

BASHA BEARS WIN!

Basha High had the biggest upset out of all the teams that played. We (the 12th seated team) beat Mt View (the 5th seated team). It was a great match, especially compared to last year when we played them. We got killed. So they had it coming :)

Since we beat Mountain View we were in the next round of State Playoffs (the Quarter Finals). This is the farthest any varsity volleyball team from Basha has made it into State. It was so exciting!! Our next game we were matched up to Xavier (who pretty much crushed Red Mountain High School) and had won the State title in the 5A division last year. Kiiiinda scary!

Even though we lost against Xavier, I still think we played a last great match. I am really going to miss all our senior girls and its going to be so different without them! Good Luck all of you! We ended with a great, WINNING, season. 22 wins-17 loses. We'll be back next year! And make it even farther :)
