A Walk To Remember

The most perfect movie ever made.
No matter what kind of mood I'm in, this movie changes it.
Whether I'm upset or angry...
Somehow, this movie always, always, ALWAYS gets to me.
I don't think I could watch it once without crying.
I love it. Absolutely love it.

Vegas Babyyy

This year for club volleyball season we switched from being in 'club' division to 'open.' Now that we are in the open division we get to travel to places other than California. We are able to go play in Vegas and Colorado. And this past weekend HAVOK went to VEGASSS!

The first night we were in Vegas, we went and ate at the
Hard Rock Cafe :)

This picture is an immitation of our coach's. We all looked down the table at those two, and what do ya knowww. They are BOTH on their phones. So, we all got our phones out and were pretending to be just like them! hahaha

This is our first day of the 3-day long tournament. We didn't do as great as we would have hoped to. But I know we all learned alot. And even though we didn't come home with alot of 'wins' we are still HAVOK, and I know we will be able to get over this 'hump' in our road, and be able to finish our games with a WIN. It's coming HAVOK.

Since each day our tournament started in the afternoon, we were able to do a little shopping along the strip. & the first place we go to is, well duhhhhh.. THE M&M FACTORY!

We are never normal

Tiffany, Me, Coach Jaime, and Amrie. haha.

happy birthday jacob :)

So its been awhile since Jake's birthday was really here.. but I just barely took him out for it this past saturday and it was lots of fun. :)

Well first, on the day of his birthday (January 30th) my mom let me miss school so I could go surprise him at his school. I got this reeeaallyyy big balloon from party city that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it, and lots of other balloons to go with it. I bought him his favorite soda and candy bar too. lol. Anways, once I got to Mt. View my sister and I walked into the front office and asked for her to call down Jake so he could get his birthday gifts. :) but this front lady was being a real "B" and had a rude attitude telling me "they don't allow those kind of things on campus. and it would just be better if he stayed in class." So.. he wasn't able to get them after all. Than I also had brought car markers so I could decorate his truck! So when I was about to go look for his truck the security guard had stopped me and told me "if i wasn't a student at mt view than I was not allowed to be on campus." CRAP. But I also knew Jake had seminary the next hour so my sister and I waited at the seminary building for him. Come to find out, Jake had already left for Six Flags HOURS before.. So we waited for no one pretty much. haha. It's funny now that I look back on it at how screwy that day ended up. haha. But I called Jake and he suggested I decorate his room, so nothing I had bought went to waste. So thats what I did :)

All the balloons I blew up, and went into Jake's bedroom!

Okay, so this past Saturday I told Jake I was taking him out. I had planned this out for WEEKS and once Saturday finally came, I was beyond excited! I didn't tell him anything because I wanted it to be a surprise. :) So Jake picked me up around 5:20 and I had him drive us over by the airport. My coach suggested this WAY cute idea for having dinner right next to the airport to watch the planes land and take off. Which is exactly what I did. I had cooked dinner right before he came and picked me up, and once we picked out a great spot we started to unload the food into the back of his truck to watch the planes. (I had made spaghetti lol) Anyways, we didn't even sit down before the security guard came over and told us that if we weren't employees, we had to leave. buuummmerrrrrr. my plan, ruined. But it didn't ruin the night. We went and finished our meal and than we went to go see 'He's Just Not That Into You." I am surprised Jake went to see that with me :) All in all, my night was incredible and there is no one I would rather spend my time with than him. I wish I had pictures to post. We had both brought cameras and forgot to take some. Sad, I know. But my night was still perfect in every way. He's everything I could ever want. I love him very very much :)

way way WAY too tired

Lately, I've been extremely exhausted and unfortunately cranky and rude. (which I hate). Every year club season does something to me. The season goes from November to June. That's quite a long time, like 7 months. I'm not saying I hate club season, and that I wish I didn't play.. I'm just saying it gets very TIRING. Ask any other girl that plays volleyball. Somehow and someway this just drains us. Personally, I get emotional. I cry. Alot actually. And most of the time, it's over nothing. I just cryyyy. Call me a baby.. but hey, it makes me feel better.

Lately, I haven't been getting the sleep I need. I go to bed late, and wake up every morning at 5 a.m. I hate zero hour, with a passion. During the school day I usually fall asleep during class. I can't ever keep my eyes open.. it just happens. Than on top of that I have my volleyball class each day during the week. And I have practice at night on Tuesday's and Thursday's! Plus tournaments on the weekends. There's very little sleep happening during my week. Week after week.

This post wasn't suppose to make me sound whiney. Kind of just wanted to.. explain myself. haha. Telling why I'm always so stinkin' tired and why I am the biggest baby. But this is volleyball season. I've been doing it for 5 years now. I'm use to it. At times I wish I could quit, but I could never not go a day without it. It's my life. (A love-hate relationship. haha).
