seriously, this is depressing

So on Friday, June 5th... My best friend moved. Amrie Brooke Stapley MOVED! Like I said, it's depressing!! Her, Stacy, and I have been best best best friends since 7th grade. Each year from 7th grade we've always have gained a new bff to the group. But after each school year, that friend would move. Like 7th grade.. it was this girl Katie. 8th grade.. this girl Courtney. 9th grade.. Emily. But these past two years of 10th and 11th grade.. they are Amrie. Last year, Amrie went to a new school. Ya, it's wasn't a BIG thing. & NONE of us would ever ever think that she would seriously move away! Except, the end of junior year, she did :( And I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO!? I was seriously with her every single day. Her house felt like second house to me.. and her family felt like that also. Her dad always gave us the greatest advice, "boys are pigs." (And he has always been right. haha. You may feel like you found one who isn't. K seriously, that piece of advice, SO TRUE! haha. No way around that one till they get home from their mission!) Anyways, since I was leaving town the day before the big M-O-V-E and since its SUMMER we most definitely had to go out with a bang! Which we did :) haha. We went to our friend Landon's house to pay 007. & for whoever doesn't know what that game is.. it's AWESOME! haha. It's where a BIG group of people get together and a few people get in their cars, and take us all into the back of a neighborhood. They drop you off and start to scope out for people.. while those who are dropped off have to hide so they don't get caught by the cars. So people run and hide, climb fences, pretty much everything to stay safe. haha. And when playing, it's a freakin blast! Stacy and Mekenna have battle marks to prove it! haha. So after 007 we stopped by Sonic cause it was 'free rootbeer float' day. So why pass that up right!? And after Sonic, there's just one word I can use to describe what we did. THE ISLAND. Around 1:45 in the morning, we got back to Stacy's house. Than Amrie and I went to my house to get the wii controllers and the game mario kart. We played till 4:45 in the morning!! But it was okay, cause Tatum was coming to 'kidnap' Amrie at 5 to take us to breakfast. And a certain someone (MEKENNA) spilled the beans to Amrie the night before. So of course, Amrie was in on it.. and we tried making a plan to scare her and whoever else she was bringing! haha. But that really didn't work out cause, she caught us. We all went to Denny's (which is gross) and by the drive back, Amrie, Stacy, Mekenna, Asha, and I were about to lose it. Hard core. haha. We were so stinkin tired. Once we got back to Stacy's it was time to say goodbye to Amrie.. and I started to cry of course. I wish she didn't move. I wish she was still 3 minutes away from my house. I can't believe she's actually gone! And I miss her so much ):

Yessss, it is true :( Havok's season is over :( Most of us girls have played with Coach Pew for the past three years now! Our second year together we gained an assistant coach (COACH JAIME) and two other players.. but lost 3 also. This past season we gained one girl back from our very first season! MATTI! It's sad to see the season end. And it's TOTALLY weird to not think of our coach's being our real coaches anymore.

Quick Update

So alot has been going on since I've last posted... and even before that! I really need to catch up with everything. But sorry, this post just isn't that. Haha. SOON! I promise. You will soon read about my time at Prom :), Regionals, and Havok's end of the season party! But I assure you lots has been going on besides that, just not important enough to post I guess. haha. Anyways, I was on facebook the other day and a friend of mine had posted a quote that REALLYY caught my attention.

"What I want is to be needed. What I need is to be indispensable to somebody. Who I need is somebody that will eat up my spare time, my ego, my attention. Somebody addicted to me. A mutual addiction."

I thought it kind of 'hit the nail on the head' for me. Especially as of lately. If it's not now, it will be someday. I know my ONE and ONLY is out there. I'm pretty sure I found him, but right now... Just isn't the right time.

So once we got home from church today my mom let Emma (our dog) out into the backyard, like she usually does whenever we get home. I had gone and changed into my swim suit so I could lay out for a bit, because as of this moment... I need as much sun as I can get right now. I have Prom this weekend, and to make myself look that much more incredibly gorgeous in my dress, a good tan would definitely help. So I grab my towel, my tanning oil, and my sunglasses and walk to my back door. I push the glass door open and I look out ahead and see Emma, in the pool. But she wasn't swimming around or anything. She was sitting there, right next to the volleyball net. I started to giggle to myself and than let my family know what I saw. My mom soon said, "She might be stuck in the net!" So we all walked out to see if that was the case, and what do you know. She was stuck. Hahahaha. Our dumb dog got herself stuck in the net. So we had Taelin jump in and rescue Emma.

Just recently, TWILIGHT has come out on dvd, and of course... my family bought it! I can't even count how many times I've watched it. And even though the books are wayy better than the movie. Still, I'm obsessed!! I love everything about it. Funny thing too, the other morning in my first hour a girl in my class comes up to me and says, "Do you know who you look like? Kristen Stewart. She is Bella from Twilight." I've been told this before. Weird. So I asked a few other people and I get a reaction thats either "OMG YOU DOO!" or "Haaaaa, I don't see it..."

we're going to party like its your birthday

On March 12th it was my seventeenth birthday. I am indeed growing up, and fast! Seems like yesterday I was barely starting high school as a little freshman and here I am, in the last quarter of my junior year. I'm almost a senior baby! haha anyways, this past birthday was a WHOLE lot better than I expected it to be. Even ask my mom or sister. I was not exactly excited for it to come. But it was a good birthday!! I woke up to my car being decorated. And it was Jake who had drawn all over it in blue and red. Can't forget the big heart on the top of the car (i guess the marker had broken and blue pain was just over-flowing leaving it thick.) lol. I can't even describe to you how hard it was to clean it. There's still some paint there cause it was so difficult to scrub off! haha. So ya, my mom and my sister Shalai took me out during the day to go shopping. I bought a cute new outfit from Buckle. I am in LOVE with the new jean shorts I bought. I definitely can not wait to wear them. haha. While I was out, my two bff's stopped by my house and left a huge card and a bag of all of my favorite candies at my front door. How sweet of them :) Than that night, Jake took me out. We went and ate at Bolero's (Seville's restaurant at it's Club House) and had a seat by the fire outside. Than afterwards, took me with two other couples up onto SanTan Mountain to roast marshmellows & make smores. It was perfect. It was the best way to finish my birthday. He's such a sweetheart :)
